This band ESPECIALLY Nevermind, sounds nothing like Pavement, it sounds a LOT more like The Cramps, people are also saying Pixies and Nirvana, both of which I own albums by on vinyl and I'm not hearing it. So many people saying this band sounds like Nirvana, Pavement, and Pixies. There's no aid, there's no trade it belongs to you Have no fear for real, it's just a turning wheelĭon't put your eyes on boots, step forward your roots I don't know why, don't know why, too late, it's too late Tell me what, tell me what, tell me what you say I don't know why, don't know why, don't know why you afraid Tell me what, tell me what, tell me what you want Whatever hold you back I can, I can get it off As much as people say Berserk peaked at Golden Age and was never the same, to me it only got better after that, and I'm willing to accept Berserk as it is now even if it will never end. It's up to you the first words should be finded I respect the man for continuing his work at his own pace, writing the story HE wanted to tell without feeling the need to rush it because of Berserk's fandom, and still managing to keep the story engaging and consistent with the plot (as tedious as the boat could have been), closing most of each character's arcs fantastically.īerserk managed to satisfy me narratively without a proper ending in a way mangas with an end haven't, because even now at 364 chapters, I feel Berserk told the story it wanted to tell: the story of loss, endurance, struggle, reunion, revenge and self-acceptance. But I felt sadder for Miura than I felt for Berserk, because the sense of loss for a great man and writer was far greater than Berserk's non-conclusion. Miura's news of death came out the night after my birthday.
